Parent Portal Student Annual Updates
RESIDENCY VERIFICATION WILL BE REQUIRED FOR ALL RCPS STUDENTS ENTERING 7TH GRADE FOR THE 23-24 SCHOOL YEAR.
Upload 2 Proofs of Residency in Rockdale County with Annual Update for your student: (1) Lease, Mortgage, or Tax Statement (2) Current Utility Bill or Vehicle Registration 

Parent Portal Annual Student Updates Flyer

Parents--Please take the opportunity to verify and update your student's information, emergency contacts, phone numbers and more to ensure that Rockdale County Public Schools has a way to contact and communicate with you.  In doing so, you will also have the opportunity to sign all of the forms needed for next school year.  Signing these forms is required to ensure that your child has continued access to technology services and will be one of the first students to have a laptop issued to them.  Doing this early means that your child will have a smooth start to the next school year with the most current and accurate information.

To access annual updates:

1. Log into Infinite Campus Parent Portal. *If you need to create a Parent Portal account refer to directions on the website or inquire at your child's school.
2. Click three lines in the top left-hand corner for Menu.
3. Click on 'more'
4. Annual Updates and Registration
5. Click on SY23-24 School Year Annual Update 

*Choose to begin an existing registration. Required items are indicated with a red asterisk. No forms are required to be uploaded for updates.*

Heritage High School 9th Grade Summer Bridge Program

The 9th Grade Summer Bridge is a free summer enrichment program designed to help incoming 9th grade students make connections with future teachers and classmates while preparing them academically for the transition to high school.

Dates: June 13-14, 2023 Time: 9:00am – 12:30pm (Lunch will be provided) Location: Heritage High School.

Rockdale County Public Schools is required to set aside at least 1% of the District Title IA allocation and distribute not less than 90% of those funds to Title IA schools for parent and family engagement activities. This money is used for parent and family involvement activities and to actively engage parents in the academic achievement of their children. MMS Updates:

RCPS Technology Fee
Every school year, each student will be assessed a $10 student fee. This fee will be used to enhance instructional technology and academic resources for students.  All electronic devices that Rockdale County Public Schools issues to students are covered by the district in the event that they are damaged due to accident, whether on campus or off campus. All devices are also covered by theft insurance. This protects devices only in the event of theft...not if they are lost.

7th Grade Vaccination Requirements
All students born on or after January 1, 2002 and entering, advancing or transferring into 7th grade in Georgia need proof of an adolescent pertussis (whooping cough) booster vaccination (called “Tdap”) and an adolescent meningococcal vaccination (“MCV4”).  Proof of both vaccinations must be documented on the Georgia Immunization Certificate (Form 3231). Digital Citizenship and Parent Resources
Next year, Memorial Middle School will be included in the next phase of Rockdale County Public Schools' "Learning Reimagined" initiative, which will include a laptop  for every student. In preparation for this, we will be offering a number of classes and resources for student and parents about digital citizenship and the appropriate use of technology to help keep our children safe.
