Welcome Message from Principal Dr. Stoudmire

Greetings Seminole Family,

Welcome to Memorial Middle School (MMS)! This is your new principal, Dr. Stoudmire. I am honored and privileged to serve as the principal of MMS. I have twenty-two years of experience in education. My roles have included serving as a teacher, coach, and instructional facilitator with Clayton County Public Schools. I have also served as an athletic director and assistant principal with the Butts County School System.

I hold an Educational Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Southern Mississippi, a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership achieved at the University of Central Florida, and a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from Florida International University.

Over the past five years I have served the students and families of MMS as an assistant principal. As principal, I look forward to continuing collaborative efforts to maximize learning experiences for our students in a safe environment. As we look ahead into the 2025-2026 school year, we must all establish high expectations for all learners. Every student should be afforded an optimal learning experience, one in which they are driven to maximize their potential.

As we move forward, we will continue to engage in the work of teaching and learning with a spirit of collaboration. However, we will need all hands on deck. Educators, students, families, and the community must work together to reach our goals. Communication, collaboration, and commitment are the values that I would like everyone to embrace as we move forward. These values are critical in order to truly achieve success. I look forward to continuing relationships and building new relationships with the students and families of the Memorial Middle School community.
